Free evening meals are provided daily to the homeless and other persons in need at the Lord's Diner in Wichita. Volunteers are needed each day to help serve the meals and clean up the dining room and kitchen afterwards. Our parish provides this service one day a month. Food Handlers Training is required of each volunteer. Such training is available at St. Joseph's on a periodic basis.
Contact the Church Office if you are interested to volunteering at The Lord's Diner each month. Currently, we meet at the church on the 2nd Thursday of each month. We will leave from the parking lot around 4pm.
